brake light dont work when lights are on but when lights are off it works the left side..really pissing me off

kinda hard to diagnose based on the information. but I would start by inspecting the brake light switch, fuses, etc. Also, do you have a trailer wiring device hooked up to your Jeep? I have noticed a few issues when using the box that converts separate turn signals into trailer wiring.... just a thought
