Windshield washer nozzle location

Asked by GuruZLPQ6 Nov 01, 2017 at 09:45 PM about the 1957 Ford Fairlane Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 4-door.  There is a
pedal for the washer fluid and the hose on the
engine side of the firewall where it was cut off but
nothing else.  I’m looking to piece it back together
but don’t see anywhere where the nozzles would
go.   Could someone take a picture of theirs and
send it to me?

Thanks
Jeff

The 1957 Ford had the See Clear windshield washer system. The fluid (water) goes in a red pouch ( not a plastic bottle), located in the left side of the fender inside the engine compartment. It is a somewhat complicated system as it uses the pedal and not a electric motor to pump the fluid to the jets below the windshield, and a cable to engage the wipers when the pedal is press with the foot. My 1957 Ford Fairlane is equipped with it. Concours Ford Parts and Mac's Ford Parts sell the pouch and the components. You can see the whole system for sale on Ebay, they are expensive. Jorge
