New fuel pump and now it wont start. Why is that?

I just replaced the fuel pump in my 99 mustang
and now it wont turn over...brand new battery. New
fuses. New spark plugs.

Be more specific. Do you mean it won't crank? Or it cranks but won't fire up? Completely different scenarios.

Could it be that you mechanic doesn't know what he is doing?
