Fuel filter

My 1999 mustang 3.8v6. Started and ran
fine until I changed the fuel filter now it wont
start it tries to but acts like its out of gas

I would cycle the ignition on for 5 seconds and back off, do that five times.

I have tried that. Still the same. Its getting fuel to the shradder valve
most filters have an arrow showing flow direction, what if it has a check valve to restrict a reverse drain of the lines

Thats next it seems to have good pressure at shradder valve but I havent used a gauge
that fuel at the shradder valve must be about 57 psi. to prove the fuel pump is up to par
