1998 jeep Cherokee How much is it to replace the Transaxle on it and where is at on the car? Where can I buy the part? Thanks

A transaxle is a big part and a big deal- are you sure that car HAS a transaxle? whatever, if it has driveline problems, it could cost a lot of money- more than the car is worth-

go to a junkyard, you should be able to get a full axle for 300 tops, less if its a pick and pull. is it the axle or axle shaft? if its leaking, i could be bad seal/bearings.
