Question type: General

Hello guys, I am a first time car buyer and I love old cars. Especially old
japanese cars that can be customized to give the race look. I am considering
to get a Corona 1992 AT190.

What will your advice be for me? will a new car owner be able to handle this
car? I also have very little knowledge about car maintenance and all. I am
learning along the way.

You don't care about going fast but you want to look fast? As in big fender flares, spoilers, skirts, air dams and a coffee can exhaust tip, etc, etc? Look for body kits but I doubt you will find anything for a car that old. Just so you know all that crap adds weight and slows the car down and no one will ever think your car is actually fast.

Hey thanks for your honest opinion. I actually don't plan to overdo that much, maybe i shudnt have stated race haha. But othet than that, do you think its economical to buy a car this old?

If you know how to work on cars an old one like this Could be a good first car as they are fairly easy to work on. Take your time and find a clean, low mile car that has been owned by a little old lady who always had it serviced at the dealer.
