I have a 99 Ford Ranger with a 4.0 OHV and I
cannot find the engine close to me and I put sohv
back in its place

No. You need to use the same push rod engine. The OHC would need a different wiring harness and computer,

Can I but my 4.0 5 speed 4x4 from a 2005 Ford range and put it in a 1999 ford ranger that had a 3.0 auto 4x4
