Occasional no crank on 2008 sprinter desiel van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Occasionally when you turn on the ignition, glow plugs light goes off, turn key
to start there is just a click.  Try a number of times and then will start.

No computer codes coming up.

Can you help

Found it. Despite Mercedes telling me not starter (solenoid switch) finally found it myself. Checked voltage to switch when happening and was 12.8 volts, coming out 0. Mercedes suggested was my key, replaced then ignition switch (held off) and if not then could be a number of other things. It was starter!!! Thanks, hope this helps others

I have the same problem with my dodge sprinter and suspect the starter, but want to know where the starter switch is? (Ignition switch) ??Can't find a realer here around here close to Milpitas that can even work on it. Tried everything so far and all the fusses, replaced the starter relay nut no luck getting it to turn over and start. Need help Bad.!! Ed
