Could anyone help me locate the problem that's making my 1994 Jeep Cherokee misfire?
It stalled out on me a few times and was hard to start back. Then when I parked it it wouldn't start again. I changed the ignition coil and it didn't help so I replaced the crank sensor and it started right up. After driving it for about 20 miles it started misfiring so I installed new plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor but it is missing worse. I cleaned and tightened the ground cables also. The only other thing I can see is a plug at the top center of the firewall that comes out of the main wiring harness. It has a red & black wire but I can't locate where & what it should plug into. I wasn't doing any work back there and I don't think I accidentally unplugged it. It looks like it has been unplugged for a long time. If anyone has any ideas what my problem might be I would greatly appreciate the help. It is snowy and icy here and I need my Jeep. Thanks
