I have bout a 1999 ford ranger xlt 3.0 has a head gasket problem so I was asking if I could place a ford ranger 3.0 that is the year 1994 into the newer ford? are the compatable need to know asap due to the 1994 engine is on the web for sale.

Two different body styles and computers systems. Anyway its illegal in most States to put older engines in newer cars.
