I am working on replacing my engine in my 2000 ford ranger and was wondering if parts from a 3.0L will work on a 4.0L? Like will the intake fit, the exhause manufaults will bolt up? Will the alternator, power steering pump, water pump, and air conditior compressor bolt up from the front of engine? or will i have to order new parts like the intake and etc...? 5 Answers
My 3.0L went bad and was wanting to upgrade. I was wondering if the parts are interchangeble like they were back when the carberated engine was out.

I was told that you can't leave my transmission in it because its to week. I was told to get a c-4 which I have no idea where do get one or what kind of truck to get it out of.
