Can you determine if it is stalling due to lack of fuel or lack of spark? Sometimes when they warm up there is vapor lock. Other times the condenser or coil may quit until it cools off, on older cars.

I forgot to add. There is black smoke coming out of the exhaust. I think it’s over fueling and it’s struggling to pick up RPM. How do I sort that

It sounds like it's getting too much fuel or not enough air. Check your air cleaner. If this engine has a carburetor, look see that the choke is not stuck shut. I can't image a fuel injected car blowing black smoke. I'm not really familiar with this car but I'd like to hear what you find. Good Luck.

The car is fuel injection. There is a sensor with a screw that adjusts air mixture. I turned the screw and the mixture changed and it was clear, but it started smelling rich again. I changed the spark plugs, but still struggling to pick up rev's.

When I accelerate there's no power (missing) and I get a rich fuel smell even with the air filter box off.
