My opel corsa c 1.6 only starts when carb
cleaner sprayed in intake , then dies again

Sounds like it lacks fuel pressure. (BTW I'm not sure if you meant to post "carb cleaner" or starting fluid.) Back to the fuel pressure, try and determine if fuel pump is energizing. Going through and cleaning or replacing sensors in the throttle body wouldn't hurt. Be careful with spraying actual carb cleaner on the wire element of the mass air flow sensor, that can damage it.
