Why does the 2017 Honda cr v ex-l have no gas tank cap?

They don't make them with caps anymore but they still have a seal to prevent gas fumes from leaking out, it's like a check valve.

At 8:08 am fill up tank with $25.00 it show full i had some before, I drove it for 1 hour turn it off when i went to run it 14 mins. Later i notice all the gas was gone needle on E. Stop at a gas station to see if maybe the needle was bad, no it took $10 plus more of gas.do not know where the gas when. Need help?
