How does the Autonomous Breaking System work? Should it break by itself when approaching an obstacle in it's path at speeds above 8 km hr.?

GuruDWTD3 The Autonomous Breaking system on the Tuscon Ultimate in my opinion is a farce. The only way the dealer I purchased it from had to test if it is working was to have a guy stand in the roadway and drive the vehicle at 20 Kms toward him with the result being that it did break to a complete stop but only ihches from the person, and the setting was at early out of early, normal or late. At that rate should road conditions be wet or slippery, well, too bad. If it is in cruise at 100 kms hr it seems to do nothing when approaching another vehicle at a high speed.

Thanx i was thinking to put cardboard boxes in front of the car to test the system, i still want to test it, never know what to expect in this situation.
