1999 v6 ford ranger swap parts out on xlt 3.0

will a 95 3.0 head fit on my 1999 v6 4.0? after its been running awhile it
overheats and have been told that since its not the normal things like water
pump , radiator , thermostat ect.

Things should be tested to see what the problem is , could be this could be that is as much help as a warm soda . The head will not fit and it's replacement is not simple , many other things must be considered .
