I did...... He had to come bleed my brakes again so that i could make it back to his shop...... But if it isnt any of those problems, i dont know what else to fix........ I dont have the funds for a new car.......
And now its hard to shift the Clutch out of Park as well.......
I'm working on an 08 Spectra and it has the same problem. Did you ever get it figured out? Master cylinder, front calipers and rubber hoses have been replaced. Walmart changed the oil and now it had the same problem. A shop told my boss that these parts needed repaired. No improvement.
I switched out my brake switch and ever since have had the same problem. I drive 1-2 miles and the vacuum booster pulls on the break, eventually locking them. Had to pull the hose off the booster to release the pressure. Still not working
Update to bosses sons car. I ended up replacing the power brake booster (after the 1st 1 turned out to be bad) and all is good. More then 1,000 miles and it still works as it should.
Hey none so the power brake booster solved this issue? Also, replacing the brake switch can chase that?
What happens is the brake booster has an internal leak. This cause pressure to be put on the master cylinder as though you are pressing the brake pedal. I unhooked the vacuum hose from the booster and the car rolled with no resistance.
