The CarGurus.  missed the fact that the sellers car was repossessed but it
comes up on Carfax.    What I want to know if I have problems registering the
car to drive,  will CarGurus buy back the car from me???

I think you are mistaken. Cargurus is a listing ad site. The dealer or seller is the one that sets the ads. You are doing your homework. Check with your states DMV for titling a repossession vehicle before you purchase it. If it is a dealer, ask about a warranty. So no, Cargurus will not buy back your vehicle. Neither will the dealer unless you want to lose thousands. A repo'd car just means the seller could not or didn't want to make the payments.

CG's does not rate cars. The history is from AutoCheck. A repossession is not a branded title.
