2004 Kia Optima keeps getting stuck in reverse!

My 2004 Kia Optima P.O.S. keeps getting "stuck" in reverse!  It seems to happen on damp or rainy days, and I've noticed that the rear defrost was also stuck "on".  I hit the button, and the reverse light was flickering like it wanted to go off, and actually did at one point and the car went into drive, but the reverse light came right back on.  Since we bought the car used, we have had major issues, but this is one we can not figure out!  We have replaced the transmission sensor.  We are thinking this is something electrical, but don't know what it could be.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Update... Took out the fuse that is for the rear defrost and the car will now go in gear no problem!! What would this connection between the rear defrost fuse and the transmission be?

Hey I too have a P.O.S. Kia Spectra Ex 2004. I've spent nearly 1,300 in parts alone and its still F-ed up. Now my power steering pumps going out, my alternator is showing high voltage peaks. Ah the joys of being a woman and getting literally screwed from used car salesmen @ Phil Long Value Used Cars in Colorado SPrings, Co. Right off the Tejon/Nevada exit. If you want to get royally screwed go there. I will give them bad reviews for the remaining time I have this piece of S%!#@ car! They can all go eat a Dick!
