CAN YOU TAKE THE FUSE OUT OF THE POWER DOOR LOCKS TO DISABLE THEM?

Asked by ragna Sep 08, 2015 at 11:37 AM about the 2004 Kia Optima LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

THE ACTUATOR IS BOUND UP, BUT DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO REPAIR RIGHT NOW. CAN I DISABLE THE DOOR LOCKS AND OPEN THE DOORS MANUALLY UNTIL I CAN SAVE UP THE MONEY TO HAVE REPAIRED?

I can't see why not as long as you can use your key to open the door... but that might mean the other doors might not lock or open or stay open or in the closed position..
