It should align as a unit with the high beam.
park it front of the side of a wall pull up to it so you are about 6 to 8 feet away from it. then adjust them so they are pointed stright ahead about two and a half to three feet off the ground. you should be able to tell about how high they need to be. you don't really want them pointed way up or way down
