04 kia spectra surges when braking what could the problem be ?

Need to no what type of surge when you brake,doe,s engine surge or the car itself.

If engine surge,s when you are at idle and stopped,you may have a bad throttle position sensor,if bad will make it rev up and down,go have it scanned for free at autozone or advance auto part,s to know if this is your problem.
