Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 shelby gt 500 coba. I had the dealer put on a larger supper charger from ford factory. When shifting from 4th to 5th I hit 3rd, I was under full power & RPMs. now I have a knock and loss of power. Its coming from drivers side. Any thoughts on how to proceed with diagnostics on what I could have damaged.

If that is an engine knock you probably damaged the engine. You could try doing a compression test but I strongly suspect it is time for a rebuild.

There are all sorts of possibilities for the damage, bent valves, bent connecting rods, a rod knock etc,. etc.
