I have a Ford Taurus SE 4D....L hit the curb of the sidewalk and the front right tire exploded could that have messed up my speed modulator in any type of way cause the car doesn't catch gears

I hit the curb in my Ford Taurus SE... I was
trying to make a right turn into a 24 hour tire
shop and turned too soon and hit the curb
on the right side could that have messed up
my speed modulator
