Find a independant garage to scan your vehicle for fault codes and ask for the codes in writing. unless you purchase a scan tool, generic ones are cheap, but they will only scan the engine module. obdII readers i speak of. they (the shop) will most likely try to sell you a transmission rebuild or a replacement tranny. based on what codes, if any, this is a likely situation.
