Pay $100 and have this diagnosed. Someone with the equipment and skill set can locate the issue quickly. Cut yourself a break! IF you do one more test CHECK the fuel pressure at the fuel rail with a gauge and read how many PSI it has.

we did put it on a computer and the code said it was the crankshaft sensor. replace it and now no codes are coming up. i will check the fuel rail, that was the next guess. if that is not it i don't know.

no. should i? will that shut down the fuel? when we got it to start with the ether the fuel pump was working fine. just no fuel to the rail system.

Sorry do not know what I was thinking but the camshaft sensor would shut of spark would do what Auto_Centric suggested. Can you hear the fuel pump come on when key is turned to the on postion ? If yes check fuel pressure if not check fuel pump fuse and relay also check to see if power is going to the fuel injectors you will need a noid light to check for power.

there is no fuel coming to the fuel rail. the pump is humming but no fuel delivery. this is a new fuel pump.

So you are saying there is no fuel at all coming out of the fuel line going the the fuel rail ? Check all of the rubber gas lines coming from the fuel tank lines going to the fuel rail sounds like one maybe cracked sucking in air.

will do. Going to also pull line from pump and run the air hose through to see if line is clogged. thanks
