How to change the alternator?

There is probably a trick, I would ask a service tech at the Kia dealer if they know any special tricks. However, there may be other things required. They will be able to tell you either way. I've not seen any Kias lately so I don't know offhand what to tell you. What exactly is getting in the way of you removing it? Let me know and maybe I can give you a better answer.

it sort of like a tight starter ,wiggle it around it eill come out when you find the sweat exit,remember how it come out is tricky but will come out.

You can remove it from the bottom of the car .put you're car up on car rams or Jack stands.disconect the electrical wire and the bolt below the alternator. Then lower done thru the c.f. joint it's tight but it will come out. It's the easy way get it out
