We just purchased our 2018 Chevy Traverse 2 months as well and we're having the exact same issue. Did you bring it in and if so, what was the problem?

I am having the same problem with my. Finally everything went completely out and they had to replace the amp. Now it’s back to doing it intermittently and the dealership says that unless it’s not working when we bring it in there is nothing they can do.

We have the same issue, my car is currently week two in the dealership with all the panels taken off. They replaced the radio, didn’t help, Chevy engineeers had them rewire some wires, didn’t work. Now they “think” it’s an amplifier but aren’t 100% sure if that will fix it and on top of that, there are none available anywhere in the US. I originally had an equinox for my 1st loaner but just switched into another traverse and this radio is going out too!!! Sounds like these have a serious issue

I have a 2019 LT traverse and a similar issue. I heard a pop and the passenger front door and dash tweeter went out. Remained out for the day even after shutting and restarting the car. Next day all is working again. Only 8000 miles on the car.

2019 LS same issues. Dealership doesn't know what the problem is, they kept my car for 1 month in a half.

We just had our 4th amp installed in a year on our 2019 Traverse. Dealership said GM was aware on the problem with there amp location. Amps are getting condensation inside from the placement of the amp on top of the air duct. Cold air from the duct causes the warm amp to condensate inside the unit that leads to its demise. We’ve had it all, popping, hissing, static, crackles, no sound, some sounds. Dealer has been awesome. They just tried a new fix that’s hoping to solve the problem for good. Hope so!

GuruGTYD3 Did the new fix work? And do you happen to have the info on what amplifier to install? I’m having the same issues.

My dealer replaced the stereo, then the amp, then the onstar module. Nothing worked. No sounds at all in the car. Did anyone find a fix?
