OBD2 Panel cover removal

I have a 2018 Ford Escape and have located the panel but not sure how to
remove it to install Progressive Snapshot device.  Does it require special tools,
or can I just pull it off with a screwdriver, etc?

If there is a cover panel, it should just pop open with a little bit of force. The snapshot device should just plug in to the OBDii port located under the dash on the driver side of the vehicle. No tools required.

But the cover won't close after you put the snapshot device in.
