wher can i find pictures of the motor in a 1995 kia sportage

I have a freind who has one that somebody was doing the motor work on it. Needless to say after the hole motor was taken apart and the heads were sent to have work done. well now the motor is here in pieces and my husband is putting it back together nothing is matching up. so if any body could help me find some pictures or diagrams and specs on this motor. because we think that they are being riped off. by the repair shop. they keep charging this old couple for crazy things

Hi Kitty. Drive your husband take a trip to the local library to find the Chilton's manual for that Sportage. That will give you a lot of information about reassembling various areas of the engine. It should help him get some of the way. Beyond that a conversation with the local Kia service manager could get you some more resources to work with in terms of manuals and reference material.
