Front end rub

Asked by GuruCH69J Feb 22, 2019 at 01:20 PM about the 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty Lariat Crew Cab LB 4WD

Question type: General

When making sharp turns or u turns truck is making a thumping noise in the front end. Dealer said it is my hubs due to the size of my truck True or false? I've had other f350 trucks that didn't do this

Always in 2wd. Haven't even tried the 4wd yet. Bought the truck brand new 4 months ago. Living in Az . Won't need 4wd unless I decide to go into the desert

It's the mudflap. My truck does the same thing. When I turn I feel/hear a thumping sound - I had a mechanic walk next to my truck and he found that the tires grab the mudflap and flip them up.
