anti-theft secondary that the dealer put on

Asked by Delores Sep 10, 2024 at 04:02 PM about the 2005 Lincoln LS V8 Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Apparently, the dealer put a secondary anti-theft device on my 2005 Lincoln
LS Sport, I changed a fuse for the cluster panel and the anti-theft has stopped
the starting of my vehicle because I have done the suggested start for the AT
from Lincoln and it works fine, but the car still doesn't start. It's called
StarGuard do you know how to disarm this?

Look for the wiring to the anti-theft system and there should be 2 inline fuses. pull both fuses and the car should start.
