HOW DO YOU PUT A SOLENIOD PACK ON A 2003 LINCOLN ls tramsmission

I bought this 2003 lincoln 3 months ago it runs and drives great.There are no
codes that come up at all on dash but when it goes into 3rd gear the
tramission kicks and then shortly after it hesistates about 5 seconds.After it
goes through this process it runs and drives great.it has a smooth drive and
runs like nobodys business.

It's internal to the transmission, you have to drop the pan to get to the valve body. I'd make sure that was the actual problem before just swapping parts. Trouble codes (and the whole OBD system) was designed for emissions and emissions-related problems, so they rarely post codes for transmissions.
