Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OK,  New water pump,  new auxiliary water pump, new dccv valve new radiator,
new thermostat, new thermostat housing, new coolant by-pass line, new De-gas
bottle. zero leaks all hoses are good . Bled the system multiple times, but it still
over heats, unless you leave heat on full blast, but if you select defrost at lower
temp or God forbid the a/c then it begins to rise and eventually overheat.?????
Any help Appreciated??????

This is another known LS problem. The ETC code it throws pretty much leads the owner on a very expensive snipe hunt. I've done all the above and at the end of the day (not to mention my bank account) my mechanic proclaims, "It's getting old". The best advice I can give you it to try bleeding the coolant lines one more time.

I ended up draining the hydraulic fan reservoir, refilling with castrol high mileage atf wich has cleaning agents in it then drive for a few miles and repeat several times this process cleans the hydraulic fan actuator wich allows the fan to cycle as the engine temp rises. This seems to have worked for now. But if not, I will do a electric fan conversion. Then sell this bottomless money pit... lesson learned Lincoln is trash.......
