I have a 2002 Lincoln L's v8 I can't get the heat to blow right in the winter or air in the summer, let's not mention the defrost .

I'm thinking it could be the blender door not
closing when in should.

It is either the blend door or bad switch over switch ( that is the switch that switches from vents to defrost ) not sending signal to door or cable may have come off that operates the blend door.

same here and it really is a ah moment when using the ice scraper to peal ice off the inside of my windows just to go to the store!
