The V8 has to be totally air free in the system or it will cause a air pocket in the system and
cause overheating. There is a cap where the coolant crossover is, open that up and pour as
much water in it that you can then replace the cap. Also fill the coolant tank to the full mark
and replace the cap until you hear three clicks. Take notice that there is a bleed valve in the
same area. Start the car and get it to operating temp the just open the bleed valve just
enough that water is coming out and when it seems to be a steady flow close it. It will not
hurt to bleed it two times as air in this system is bad. I have been very sucessful doing it this
way.
