2000 Lincoln LS V8 (Engine Overheating within minutes even after repairs)

Engine is overheating within minutes.  Took to mechanic after turning the car on in the
morning only driving eight miles and needle going to hot and the car shut down.  They
put in a new surge tank/overflow tank and replaced with all new coolant.  New
waterpump.  I have taken it to 4 mechanics and all are stumped.

Air in the cooling system? Thermostat stuck? Water pump bad? Radiator fan not running? Could be many things.

New waterpump. Radiator fan is working. Not sure how to find out if the thermostat is stuck or air in cooling system. The mechanics I have gone to all admit these cars are complex and hard to work on and they arent sure
