2018 Subaru Forester packages different on official Subaru site vs dealership site

Asked by Guru9HJJY Jul 03, 2017 at 12:59 PM about the 2018 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Premium

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm looking to buy a new 2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium . I've been through Subaru's "Build and price" tool on their website and it offers packages that local dealerships claim don't exist and I'm confused.

I wanted a Subaru with Fog Lights and an all weather package. According to the "build and price tool" all packages that include fog lights also include Eyesight. But when I see a vehicle offering Eyesight, I'm told that they don't have fog lights. This dealership is also selling a similar vehicle advertised with a touch screen navigation feature, but the "build and price tool" says it's not even available on that vehicle.
I'm getting a bit frustrated and confused.

The factory site is probably more accurate but verify the features in person before buying.
