My car shut off while driving. It would begin to turn but wouldn't crank. Had to jump it off to get home. Stayed crunk for awhile but battery eventually died again & won't crank.

Car would run for awhile but soon as I tried
to reverse or drive it it shuts off again but
long as I'm still it stays cranked.

Check the alternator,and make sure your battery is good.

That's what random people are telling me. But someone said the fuel pump. I just don't want to keep spending money and the problem not be fixed. Just put a new starter on it & was able to drive maybe 3/4 miles & it happened again.

Mazda 2006 while going down the highway it cuts off then had the battery and alternator checked they were good what other possibilities
