2018 Outback battery dies

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2018 Outback is experiencing the same dead battery.   It can sit 1 month and start but it can also die overnight.  It started at about 4000 miles and I only have 9800 miles now.  I've received the same song and dance blaming me for not driving enough.  They did put a new battery in at about 5000 miles. Subaru refuses to do anything and Subaru America parrots the same story that I get from the dealer. (Why not, they wrote the story)  I live out of the town and my minimum drive is 20 miles.  They have no plans to fix the problem and all anyone can do is post your story on Facebook and all other  social media.  I've cost them at least 1 car sale already.

The problem is that OE batteries are junk. Ask them to grab a new Interstate from COSTCO ($85) and install it. Your problems should cease. Ern TSG/B
