There is a plethora of factors that would determine the life span of a vehicle. Major factors would be it's service history and how it was driven by it's previous owner(s). I would recommend finding some message boards specifically for that vehicle and get some information from there. People that have owned the vehicle or still own it can give you more detailed info as far as how many miles they have achieved, service tips, what to look out for, common problems etc..
Will go until 222,000 miles, then the internal timer will tell the Explorer to stop.
Are you seroius....so u telling me the car will automatically stop once it reaches those miles.
Absolutely not.. Sara is pulling your leg. Vehicles will run as long as the mechanical and electrical components will allow it to.
Mark...I was just telling my girlfriend what sara said. She looked at me and was like the woman is messing with your head...lol....
Did the truck pass smog easily? Does it run good and not use oil? If so there is a fair chance that it will last many more miles provided you take good care of it, fix small things that go wrong and take it fairly easy when driving. Be prepared for many small things to go wrong even if the engine keeps running strong.
It runs very good and has a 5 o l engine..6 cynlinder.
