Buy a code reader or have a mechanic read the codes to tell you what is wrong.

Driving a vehicle with a flashing check engine light is not good. The flashing light indicates a miss-fire. During the miss-fire raw fuel enters the exhaust and ignites. The high heat produced from this usually damages (melts) the catalytic converter causing more issues. Get the code read and determine what needs to be repaired.
