There should be OBD2 trouble codes waiting to be read. Have someone such as they guy at the auto parts store read the codes. Post them here.
Replace all sensors on transmission and still goes into limp mode only time it drives and shifts fine is you pull over and do a restart. It's horrible
It says incorrect gear ratio 3rd4th gear also. System voltage low. And gascap. And battery change
It is a transmission issue. You may need to have it rebuilt.
Yes. But some people found a wire somewere that was loose and needed soldering. Tryn to fine out were that log was to read it again.
Been doin research for months on this thing.. only found a few possible causes. Just tryn to see if anyone had same issue and what worked for them. Chrysler is known for wire issues
Also. It's huge money to rebuild it. So tryn to aviod it.. any other ideas ? Thanks
UPDATE. Found big problem . The front of the transmission has a huge plug with a ton of wires on it.. I lifted the plastic clip and unplugged it. OMG corrosion so bad all green an dirty..so that is the culprit for shifting issue that I had.. cleaned em up with electric spray and dilectric grease. Prob went away. No more limp mode or incorrect gear ratio codes..hop this helps someone else.. thank you all.
