I lost both keys to my 2002 Mazda Tribute. Mazda Dealer can't figure out how to program keys to start the car. They put a new PCM in and that still didn't work. What should I do?

This should work depending how bad the dealer screwed things up. 1. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. 2. Within 20 seconds press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. 3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. 4. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

A Ford dealer may be the route to go if you take it to another dealer, as a Mazda Tribute is 100% Ford Escape. They probably know the vehicle better than a Mazda dealer.
