07 mustang will not run change fuel pump and no diffrance

I was driving down interstate and car just died no spit sputter just died had it towed to the house and it wont start so I went and bought fuel pump and put it in and it made no diffrance I took fuel line apart at engine and turn key on but no fuel came out I can hear fuel pump come on when I turn key on
