Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello I'm new to this website I have been reading
everyone's posts and it seems that I have some of the
same issues with my vehicle. I was actually at a red light
yesterday for about 2 minutes when the light turn green i
press the gas pedal to accelerate in my car almost cut
completely off and the car behind me almost rear-ended
me, also my car is constantly losing power I'm always
having to press the pedal to the floor just to go sometimes,
and the lights are constantly flickering and when I have to
come to a sudden stop or long stop it seems that the air
conditioner turns off while my feet are on the brakes
because the air gets really warm as weird as that sounds.
My car only has 7000 miles on it. Now I did look under the
hood and my battery has some type of liquid that oozes out
of the top every now and then I'm going to assume that the
problem is the battery but it is so hard to believe that a
battery can cause so many problems. If anyone is reading
this please feel free to chime in and give me your opinion I
have an appointment with the dealership this Friday. I wish I
had never purchased this vehicle it's been in the shop back
and forth ever since I purchased it in March of this year, the
first day that I purchased the vehicle I ended up bringing it
back to the dealership because it was driving really rough
and it had a lot of robe abrasions in the steering wheel and
the whole time it turned out to be just the tires needing to
be balanced but it took 3 repair trips to get to that solution.
I am just frustrated when I purchase a vehicle I don't expect
to to have seized many problems sometimes I think I
should have just kept the ragity 2003 Lincoln LS that I
originally traded for my Nissan

I bought a 2018 Altima with 7000 miles on it (CPO), and it had a low tire when I test drove it at Cookeville Nissan, in Tennessee. I voiced my concern, and the salesman assured me it was simply where the car had been sitting on the lot. I’ve owned it a week and a half, and tomorrow will mark the second time I’ve had to return to the dealership, regarding the same tire. The first time, my husband had to plug the tire for me to even make it over there. It only had EIGHT LBS PSI in it. They assured me it was fine. I left with 38 lbs in that tire. Today, it had only 29 lbs in it. Seeing as the problem obviously existed when I test drove it, I feel they should replace the tire! We’ll see! If they refuse my demand for a new one, I will be contacting Nissan Consumer Affairs!
