2018 nissan sentra poor acceleration

Asked by Contor Jul 24, 2020 at 10:57 PM about the 2018 Nissan Sentra SV FWD

Question type: General

I have a 2018 Sentra with about 45,000 miles on it.  I bought it used in January at a dealership.
2 different Nissan dealerships did  full diagnostic tests and both came back with no issues. They did
update a transmission code ( something like that) .

The car hesitates when I give it the gas up until I hit around 40 mph then it seems somewhat "normal".  It
is loud when I accelerate and hit the gas.  It actually sounds like a truck.   I called consumer affairs and
they said "because the 2 diagnostic tests came back normal and they could not duplicate the issue there
was nothing they could do.

Slow acceleration, hesitates, sounds like a truck when I give it the gas.

I am sure it has something to do with the transmission because I drove another 2018 and it did not sound
like mine.

Anyone with similar issues?

My 2018 Sentra rpm fluctuations when I'm driving at a high speed, over 70. It is slow to accelerate or it jumps from a stop position.

Nissan put in a new transmission $ 5500.00 It was covered by the warrant. The car runs normal now.
