2018 Nissan Sentra tire pressure warning light

Just bought a demo model 2018 Sentra from
a Nissan dealer. Had them put winters on.
Driving home, noticed that the low tire
pressure light’s on. Called salesman who said
“that’s normal with winter tires; it’ll go off
when we put your all seasons back on.”
Sounds fishy. Thoughts?

Checked with my mechanic: turns out this is normal. The tire pressure sensors only connect to the all seasons, not to the winter tires. (An annoying drawback. Low tire pressure warning light is on for 4-5 months of the year. Someone didn’t think that through!)
