Question type: General

Since i've bought my car, I've had to change the key fob battery 4 times. This cannot be right. Anyone else had this issue and can tell me what to do?
Thanks so much!

Hello Cinnamon, Wow, that doesn't seem right. The fob's for our 2018 CR_V Touring AWD purchased in April '18 just needed batteries replaced a few months ago - November for my wife' and December for mine. We're retired so the car was never driven everyday and with Covid it down to once a week max. So maybe if we were driving everyday we'd be replacing them every year - can't say but 4 times sure seems like a lot. Oh one other thing - because of the phantom window and moon roof opening problem our fobs are double cased and the only thing they are used for is proximity unlocking - other featuress don't get used.
