Fuel consumption of 2018 crv

Asked by GuruTVZBR Jun 21, 2018 at 07:27 AM about the 2018 Honda CR-V Touring AWD

Question type: Car Customization

Hello,
I bought brand new crv before couple months and it has
crossed 3000 kms. Now i am getting very bad fuel
economy with the car. Honda claims to achieve 7.2l/ 100
kms on highway and 8l/100 kms in the city but mine is
10l/100 kms which is nowhere near those ratings. Is
something wrong with the car? Or is anyone else is also
having the same problem?

I have a 2017 and was expecting to get very good gas mileage yet I am experiencing the same issue with poor performance of between 8.9 to 9.8 L/100 on the highway driveing at 110 to 120 KMPH. My 2011 Honda Odyssey which was bigger and heavier yet it got about the same mileage on the highway. I suspect there is something wrong since the CR-V is a 1.5 L Turbo getting the same consumption as a V6 non Turbo.

Same here, poor mileage directly related to the recall in regard to the gas smell and the oil dilution problem.
